Assist library branches in the provision of children's literacy and information based programs throughout the summer months.

Post Secondary Student (completion of first year College or university):

1 year of post secondary education at a community college or university.

Less than four (4) months of related experience is required:

Experience serving the public, particularly children and youth.

A valid Ontario unrestricted "G" class driver’s license (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerit points accumulated and have own transportation.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check to the City of Ottawa’s satisfaction. Note: Under the age of 18, require a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters check in place of the Vulnerable Sector Check.

English oral, reading, writing required.
French oral, reading, writing may be required for some positions.
Candidates must meet language requirement for position upon hire.
